Colours

For years, Gyan’s artistic palette was deliberately constrained to black and deep red or burgundy tones. Then, however, his chromatic vocabulary has expanded considerably. He now incorporates vibrant yellows, rich greens, and bold blues, often creating striking and unexpected color combinations through adventurous mixing techniques. His approach to color has become increasingly experimental—he will dedicate substantial time and consume considerable quantities of paint in pursuit of achieving the precise shade or tint he envisions.

This evolution in his color sensibility reflects a broader artistic maturation, where his once-limited palette has given way to a more nuanced and sophisticated understanding of chromatic relationships.
