The COVID-19 lockdown hit Gyan particularly hard. Suddenly, his outings were cancelled, activities suspended, and his beloved music lessons moved online. The frustration of being confined found a powerful outlet in his art—his studio became a sanctuary where emotions could flow freely onto canvas and walls.
His art room became a testament to lockdown creativity—every surface transformed into a canvas of pandemic themes. Door keys appeared everywhere in colourfull painted strokes across the walls and floor, while hand-painted visors and masks hung like a gallery of protective gear. Scattered throughout the space were his handmade keys crafted from paper and wooden sticks, sculptures that seemed to symbolize access to a world temporarily locked away.
These pictures show his art room during a creative period when isolation fueled artistic inspiration. The room became both studio and personal gallery—a space for continued creation when the outside world felt unreachable.
